Donate To Our Beagles In Need

Rescued beagles need your help! Midwest BREW operates solely on the generosity of people like you. Big or small, every donation helps in our ability to care for these animals. We are an all volunteer organization, and 100% of your donation goes to the care of our animals. Please help us provide medical care, spay/neutering, boarding, food, and transportation to these beagles that have been abused, lost, or surrendered until they find their new home. Your support enables us to create happy endings for beagles. Whether you are interested in making a general donation or sponsoring a particular beagle, your contribution will make a difference!

Midwest BREW is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Sponsor a Beagle

Sponsoring one of our beagles is a great way to show your support for Midwest BREW. We rely on the donations of generous animal lovers like you to be able to rescue beagles. In many cases, these homeless dogs require extensive veterinary care—much more than the adoption donation covers. Each beagle that comes into Midwest BREW’s program is brought up to date on shots, heartworm tested, spayed or neutered, dewormed, and microchipped. In addition, we must supply flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, any continuing medication, and occasionally even food until that beagle is adopted. Sometimes they are kenneled for brief time until a foster home opens up. If the beagle needs treatment for heartworm, we provide that as well.

Libby

Our dear, sweet Libby needs your support! This 10-year-old gal arrived at Midwest BREW after her life-long family surrendered her to a shelter as they could no longer
care for her.

Midwest BREW took care of arranging her surgery to repair a cherry eye (a prolapse of her third eyelid) to protect her vision and to remove a mass from her eyelid.

She also had a thorough dental exam and cleaning, and she had two unhealthy teeth removed.

We appeal to your generosity to help us offset the cost of Libby’s medical care. Every cent counts and we appreciate any assistance you can provide for sweet Libby.

Sponsored by:

Daniel

Daniel – Multiple Masses

UPDATE 12/13/24: Daniel continues to decline, most notably loss of muscle mass.  The ridge in his skull is prominent, and his spine, hips and ribs have begun to become more noticeable – in spite of gradually increasing his food portions.

12/02/24: Daniel’s weight has dropped to 31 pounds, his spine is exposed as well as his ribs.  He continues to eat and act normally, but time will tell.

10/23/24: As anyone who has gone through the aging process with their dog knows, there are often difficult decisions that must be made. After extensive discussions with the veterinary surgeon and careful deliberation of the risks and benefits, we’ve decided not to proceed with surgery due to Daniel’s age, cognitive condition (dementia), and the associated surgical risks.

Our focus is on keeping him comfortable and giving him all the love he deserves. Your generous donations towards his medical care are helping to cover the cost of his medications and subsequent veterinary appointments. Thank you to everyone who has supported Daniel. If you would like to contribute to Daniel’s ongoing care, please donate using one the Sponsor buttons below.

Daniel and Midwest BREW thank you!

Daniel crossed the Rainbow Bridge on May 2, 2025. After a valiant battle with numerous health issues, Midwest BREW and his foster family, deceided that it was time to set Daniel free. You can mouse over his picture to the left to see all the issues this sweet boy dealt with.  Run free Daniel.  💔
